Udupi, June 21: International Yoga Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkady. Students dressed in traditional attire performed rhythmic yoga. Sri Annappa Shettigar was the Chief Guest. Addressing the audience, he said, “India is becoming a beacon for the world in yoga and holistic health.” Correspondent Sri Vasanth Kumar emphasized on practicing yoga in daily life.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಜೂ. 21: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೇರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯೋಗದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಪು ಧರಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಲಯಬದ್ಧ ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಣ್ಣಪ್ಪ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್‌ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ “ಭಾರತವು ಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು. ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್‌ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ್‌ ಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಅವರು ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಕುರಿತು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
