Udupi, Aug. 15: The 79th Independence Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi. Air Vice Marshal (Veteran) K. Ramesh Karnik arrived as the Chief Guest. Sri Rishiraj, Secretary of the School Steering Committee, arrived as the president. Sri Aravind and Sangolli Rayanna Jayanti also celebrated and students spoke about their life achievements. Cultural programs were started by singing patriotic songs. Children performed a mini-drama on Rani Abbakka. Yoga asanas were performed. A dance performance was held. The Chief Guest emphasized that the value of the freedom that was sought with difficulty should be understood. He said that a positive contribution should be made to the development of the country. The president, Sri Rishiraj, gave a message of unity, discipline and service.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಆ. 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 79ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಏರ್ ವೈಸ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ (ವೆಟರನ್) ಕೆ. ರಮೇಶ್ ಕಾರ್ಣಿಕ್ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಷಿರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಅರವಿಂದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ದೇಶ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಾಣಿ ಅಬ್ಬಕ್ಕ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಯೋಗಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನೃತ್ಯಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನಡೆಯಿತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಅರ್ಜಿಸಿದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅರಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ನುಡಿದರು. ದೇಶದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅದ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಷಿರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟು ಶಿಸ್ತು ಸೇವೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು.
