Udupi, Feb. 3: The inaugural sports festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkady. Smt. Pratiksha graced the program. After the march fast of students from Pre-KG to Class II, the Chief Guest Smt. Pratiksha shared inspiring examples of great sportspersons. UKG students gave a delightful performance. The torch was lit. The sports meet was officially inaugurated with the release of balloons. Students participated in events like running match, hurdle match and prop match. Group games were also conducted for the parents.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಫೆ. 3: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೇರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ಷಾ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರೀ-ಕೆಜಿಯಿಂದ ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ಫಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಳಿಕ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರತೀಕ್ಷಾ ಅವರು ಮಹಾನ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಯುಕೆಜಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಹ್ಲಾದಕರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಪಂಜನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಲೂನ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಓಟದ ಪಂದ್ಯ, ಹರ್ಡಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಪ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೂ ಗುಂಪು ಆಟಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
