Udupi, Mar. 18: Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar’s birth anniversary and Yugadi festival were celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkady. Students spoke about the life and achievements of Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and the speciality of Yugadi, and explained the scientific background behind the celebrations of the Yugadi festival in detail. A group dance was performed to celebrate the speciality of the Yugadi festival.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಮಾ. 18: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೇರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಕೇಶವ ಬಲಿರಾಮ್ಹೆ ಡ್ಗೆವಾರ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಡಾ. ಕೇಶವ ಬಲಿರಾಮ್ ಹೆಡ್ಗೆವಾರ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಗಾದಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರೆ, ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ಸಮೂಹ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
