Udupi, July 21: A motivational programme was organised at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkady. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Pujya Sri Veereshananda Swamiji, President of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram, Tumkur.
In his thoughtful address, Swamiji highlighted the importance of nurturing values and personality from an early age. Giving a meaningful analogy, he explained that just as a small seed grows into a strong tree with proper care and nurturing, children too grow into responsible and successful citizens when guided by strong moral values and virtuous habits. Emphasising the importance of a positive outlook, Swamiji said, “Today’s positive attitude becomes the stepping stone to tomorrow’s success.” He encouraged the students to develop optimism, self-discipline, punctuality and perseverance in their daily lives. Emphasising the importance of time management, he said that following a schedule is not just a practice limited to school life, but a lifelong discipline that paves the way for success in every area of life.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಜು. 21: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೆರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರೇಶಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ, ಸರಿಯಾದ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಷಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಬೀಜವು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಮರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವಂತೆಯೇ, ಬಲವಾದ ನೈತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸದ್ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದಾಗ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಹ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಮತ್ತು ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ, “ಇಂದಿನ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವು ನಾಳಿನ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶಾವಾದ, ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಸಮಯಪಾಲನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಅವರು, ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಶಾಲಾ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾದ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವ ಜೀವಿತಾವಧಿಯ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
