Udupi, Aug. 24-27: Sanskrit Week celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkady
Day 1:
- The Sanskrit Week was inaugurated by the coordinator, Smt. Anita and the teachers of the Sanskrit department with a series of programs highlighting the importance and relevance of the Sanskrit language
- A video showcasing the importance, heritage and relevance of Sanskrit was screened.
Day 2:
- Students of class 5 brought history to life through a colourful costume presentation.
- Students dressed as six great personalities – Adi Shankaracharya, Veda Vyasa, Chanakya, Tirumalamba, Maitreyi and Mirabai – spoke about their lives, values and contributions.
Day 3:
- The students of class 3 presented a song based on the popular fable “The Fox and the Sour Grapes”.
Day 4:
- Students of class 6 conducted a picture-recognition session where pictures of familiar objects found and used in daily life were displayed, and students were invited to identify and name them in Sanskrit.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಆ. 24-27: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೆರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು
ದಿನ 1:
- ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಸರಣಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು
- ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದ ಮಹತ್ವ, ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ವೀಡಿಯೊವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನ 2:
- 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತ ಅಲಂಕಾರಿಕ ಉಡುಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಇತಿಹಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಜೀವ ತುಂಬಿದರು.
- ಆದಿಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯ, ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸ, ಚಾಣಕ್ಯ, ತಿರುಮಲಾಂಬಾ, ಮೈತ್ರೇಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮೀರಾಬಾಯಿ, ಈ ಆರು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಂತೆ ಉಡುಗೆ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಜೀವನ, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ದಿನ 3:
- ಮೂರನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು “ನರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಳಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ನೀತಿಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ದಿನ 4:
- 6 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರ-ಗುರುತಿನ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಬಳಸುವ ಪರಿಚಿತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸರಿಸಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
