He said that the playground is a place where students learn valuable life lessons along with the joy of winning. He encouraged the participants to give their best through dedication and hard work.<\/li>\n<li>The programme was presided over by Sri Mahesh Haikady, District Secretary, Vidya Bharati Karnataka, Udupi. In his presidential address, he called upon the students to accept both victory and defeat with the same attitude. He said that sports help in developing self-confidence, courage, discipline and teamwork.<\/li>\n<li>Students from various schools participated enthusiastically in the sports
