Udupi, Aug. 4: A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on effective communication skills was conducted at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkady.
- The session was presided over by Smt. Yashoda, South Cluster Pramukh of Rashtrotthana Parishat.
- Smt. Yashoda engaged the teachers through communication activities like Hot Seat and Jar of Life and highlighted the importance of effective communication. Setting priorities. How to maintain a balance between career, family and health. She advised the teachers to focus on self-improvement continuously rather than getting distracted by other things.
As part of the session, she introduced a three-month development plan, motivating the teachers to speak in English regularly, strengthen their vocabulary by learning more verbs and be a role model through effective communication.

- ಈ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಯಶೋದಾ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಯಶೋದಾ ಅವರು ಸಂವಹನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾಟ್ ಸೀಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾರ್ ಆಫ್ ಲೈಫ್ ಅಂತಹ ಸಂವಹನದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸಂವಹನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಆದ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ವೃತ್ತಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ನಡುವೆ ಸಮತೋಲನ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕಡೆ ಗಮನವಹಿಸಿ ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವ-ಸುಧಾರಣೆಯತ್ತ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಲು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಧಿವೇಶನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಬ್ದಕೋಶವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸಂವಹನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
