Udupi, July 23: The birth anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a great leader of the Indian freedom struggle, was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkadi.
- Students dressed up as Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and gave a touching presentation about his life, patriotism, thoughts on education and his invaluable contributions to the freedom struggle.
- Then the students of Class 8 ‘B’ section performed a meaningful short skit on the topic “Bal Gangadhar Tilak launched the public Ganesh Chaturthi celebration to develop organisational strength”.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಜು. 23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೆರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಮಹಾನ್ ನಾಯಕ ಲೋಕಮಾನ್ಯ ಬಾಲ ಗಂಗಾಧರ ತಿಲಕರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಲೋಕಮಾನ್ಯ ಬಾಲ ಗಂಗಾಧರ ತಿಲಕರ ವೇಷಧಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ, ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
- ನಂತರ 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ‘ಬಿ’ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, “ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಾಲ ಗಂಗಾಧರ ತಿಲಕರು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಿರು ಪ್ರಹಸನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
