Udupi, Aug. 7, 2026: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, in collaboration with Mangaluru, successfully conducted a two-day ‘Utsav’ on August 6 and 7, 2026. Inaugurating the programme, Smt. Ramita Suryavanshi highlighted the importance of value-based education in shaping responsible citizens. Referring to the inspiring lives of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chanakya and Swami Vivekananda, she encouraged the students to develop courage, intelligence, patriotism and a sense of responsibility towards society.
- Over the two days, students participated in interactive sessions led by eminent resource persons from various fields including education, science, folklore, literature, handicrafts and media.
- Experts shared their knowledge and experiences, inspiring the students to think creatively, explore various career opportunities and develop a broad perspective towards learning.
One of the main attractions of the event was the theme-wise exhibition where students showcased innovative projects that reflected their creativity, skills and conceptual understanding. The students also shared their learning experiences,

At the valedictory function, Dr. Umanath R. Poojary distributed certificates to the participants. Addressing the gathering, he stressed that the progress of the nation depends not only on doctors, engineers, IAS and IPS officers but also on farmers, artisans and skilled professionals from every field. He said that platforms like the festival help students identify their talents and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to society. Pradhancharya Smt. Purnima Mataji, who presided over the event, quoted Swami Vivekananda’s words that “Education is the expression of the perfection already in man” and reiterated that every child has unique potential. He explained RVK’s 3H approach – Hands-on Experiences, Head-on Q&A and Hearts-on Emotions – which nurtures experiential learning, critical thinking and emotional growth. He said the festival is not the end of learning, but the beginning of a lifelong journey of discovery.
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಆ. 7, 2026: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 6 ಮತ್ತು 7, 2026 ರಂದು ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ‘ಉತ್ಸವ’ವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಮಿತಾ ಸೂರ್ಯವಂಶಿ, ಅವರು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರಿಕರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಛತ್ರಪತಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ, ಚಾಣಕ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅವರು ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಜಾನಪದ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಕರಕುಶಲ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಗಣ್ಯ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಅವಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ತಜ್ಞರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಲು, ವಿವಿಧ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ವಿಷಯವಾರು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನಾತ್ಮಕ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ನವೀನ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು,
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನೃತ್ಯ-ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಉಮಾನಾಥ್ ಆರ್. ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯು ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್‌ಗಳು, ಐಎಎಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಐಪಿಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ರೈತರು, ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ನುರಿತ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರ ಮೇಲೂ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಉತ್ಸವದಂತಹ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಮಾತಾಜಿ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ “ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಗುವೂ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ವಿಮರ್ಶಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಆರ್‌ವಿಕೆ ಅವರ 3H ವಿಧಾನ – ಹ್ಯಾಂಡ್ಸ್-ಆನ್ ಅನುಭವಗಳು, ಹೆಡ್-ಆನ್ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೋತ್ತರ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾರ್ಟ್ಸ್-ಆನ್ ಎಮೋಷನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಉತ್ಸವವು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅಂತ್ಯವಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಆಜೀವ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಆರಂಭ ಎಂದರು.
