Udupi, June 3: Aksharabhyasa & Vidyarambha program for the 2026-27 academic year was held at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Udupi, Cherkadi, in the divine presence of His Holiness Shrimad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Srivasudeva Sadashivashrama Mahaswamiji and in the presence of dignitaries. Sri Vasant Kumar, Co-Administrator of Rashtrotthana CBSE Schools and Correspondent of South Zone CBSE Rashtrotthana Schools and Colleges, while delivering the introductory remarks, said, “Every school should become a centre of social transformation. Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra is identifying talented children from extreme poverty and providing them free education. Rashtrotthana aims to bring Indianness in modern education.” Swamiji addressed the gathering and said, “We have a rich and eternal culture and a great heritage. We should follow the path of our ancestors. We can put anything we want in a vessel, be it good or bad. But when good thoughts and good intentions are around us, we choose only good. Rather than learning things that are not necessary for our future life, we should be given an education that will inculcate the beauty of our culture.”
ಉಡುಪಿ, ಜೂ. ೩: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿ, ಚೇರ್ಕಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 2026- 27ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಅಕ್ಷರಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರಂಭ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀವಾಸುದೇವ ಸದಾಶಿವಾಶ್ರಮ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ದಿವ್ಯಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣ್ಯರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಿ ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಇ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಸಹ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ (Co administrator) ಹಾಗೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ವಲಯ ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್ಇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, “ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಶಾಲೆಯು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಕಡುಬಡತನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತರುವುದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು. ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ “ಶ್ರೀಮಂತವಾದ ಸನಾತನ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಭವ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ನಡೆದು ಬಂದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸಾಗಬೇಕು. ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ನಾವು ಏನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಹಾಕಬಹುದು ಅದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಅಥವಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು.ಆದರೆ ಸದ್ವಿಚಾರ ಸತ್ ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ನಾವು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನೇ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಮುಂದಿನ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಲಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಸೊಗಡನ್ನು ಮೈಗೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದರು.
